xTool F1 Ultra Laser Cutting Basswood

This past Christmas season, I used our xTool F1 Ultra to first engrave various things on some basswood, then I had the xTool F1 Ultra cut the wood into rectangles. Afterwards, I used a piece of sanding paper and just gently smoothed the edges of the cuts. We were able to use these in our showcases ...

Re: Using Spancal Morphvise at the Bench

We recently purchased several Spancal Morphvises to be used at the bench. I am not sure how much usage we will get out of them, but as part of our continuous search for +1% more efficiency we shall see how these work.

So far, the Spancal Morphvise has been great with holding items that are ...

Re: Laser engraving

Greetings.

Have you gone through some of the posts in the xTool F1 Series forum ?[ 1 ]

That forum will most likely have some answers for you. However, do keep in mind that the F1 Ultra is a 20W Fiber Laser, 20W Diode Laser, and the F2 Ultra is a 60W MOPA Fiber Laser, 40W Diode Laser. This will ...

Typeface Font Family Font Selection

When we were solely doing engravings by hand and by manual mechanical engravings we had a few "fonts" to choose from and it was kinda nice to not bog Clients down with choices. Now that we are in full swing with laser engravings, the available fonts are nearly unlimited. Of course, with hand ...

xTool F1 Ultra Laser Engraving S30V Stainless Steel Benchmade Knife

We recently had to engrave a Benchmade knife with S30V steel. I was scared to engrave this because I had not done an engraving on this type of steel and it was for someone else. I did not have a practice piece, and there are no preconfigured settings. After a lot of other testing on steels and ...

Re: Breacelet 3D Scanning

Approximately how long did it take to get this scan?

Did you take a lot of images or snapshots to get a higher resolution or more thorough scan?

Did you do any editing of the scan within the software?

Gucci Watch Battery Replacement Ladies Round Dial Black and Gold

There is a ladies round dial Gucci yellow metal watch with black trim, a single lug on top and a single lug on bottom (two lugs total), that sometimes comes in for battery replacements. This watch has a crystal on the front and on the back.

Re: What kind of link is this

My first guess is a poor imitation of a tiger's eye link. This is just based off of a Google Image Search using the image you provided. The links in the chain you provided seem to be longer. The lack of uniformity is probably due to it being made by hand in an unregulated and most likely not quality ...

xTool F1 Ultra Laser Engraving Stainless Steel Watch Backs

There are very generally two different thicknesses of watch back, thin/light and thick/heavy. This is a very intentional over-generalization, but keeping this in mind is helpful when it comes to engraving stainless steel watch backs.

"THICK" or "HEAVIER" Stainless Steel Watch Backs
